ECZEMA AND HERBAL REMEDIES
The Bioforce range has a herbal remedy that is unparalleled for skin problems. The base for this remedy is the pansy or viola, hence the name given to it by Dr Vogel, Violaforce. This fresh herb preparation, especially effective for cradle cap and all kinds of eczema, is a specific therapy for all skin rashes, in young and old.
This leads me to another form of eczema which is, as the name suggests, predominantly found in babies and young children - Infantile eczema. Nowadays we hear about it much more often and it can indeed be an extremely unpleasant problem. Often infantile eczema is caused when the mother, who feeds the baby on breast milk, suddenly has to stop for whatever reason, and the baby is weaned and given cow's milk instead. Frequently the digestive system of small children is unable to cope with the high protein content of cow's milk which provides nine times more protein than mother's milk. Mostly this is the background to infantile eczema, which sometimes even leads to an asthmatic congestion problem. Quite often mothers themselves recognise the problem and enquire if the baby or toddler will suffer from a lack of calcium if they are taken off cow's milk. I can reassure them that soya or goat's milk is very often preferred at such a young age when one has to be especially careful not to create problems for the future, which may develop into far worse conditions than skin trouble or asthma. Urticalcin, the homoeopathic calcium tablets mentioned earlier, will erase any doubt of a calcium deficiency. A simple remedy like Violaforce is often the answer for the immediate problem at hand and the sooner these little ones are helped, the better.
